Byrd & Barrel is a fast casual fried chicken restaurant. Our goal is to change the fast food game by offering locally sourced hand made food in a fast food environment. Byrd & Barrel proudly supports our local farmers and we strive to add more and more to our menu every season. Currently we work with Buttonwood Farms, Doublestar Farms, Circle B Ranch, Mac's Local Buys, Marcoot Creamery, Such and Such Farms, and Miller Poultry. We also work with other local vendors such as Old Vienna, Vess Soda CO, and Vitale's Bakery. Our beer list is overflowing with local love. We chose to open our first location at 3422 S. Jefferson located in Marine Villa. Marine Villa is such a diverse and beautiful part of our city. As beautiful as it is, some people come enjoy a meal sitting outside on our beautiful patio and have no idea they are sitting in Marine Villa. We want to change that. We work directly with our local charities and leaders to keep moving this outstanding community forward in the right direction. We are surrounded by amazing small businesses that truly care about what they are doing. Within two blocks of our restaurant you can shop for antiques, get the best cup of coffee offered in the city, eat authentic Mexican food, listen to live local music, or buy local art.
